A Hoarding Alliance local resource guide

Hoarding support in Indiana, Pennsylvania.

You do not have to solve every room or know the right program name before asking for help. Start with what would make home or daily life feel safer and more workable, then choose a next step at your own pace.

People first. Then the stuff.A Fight the Blight initiative

Start here - Fight the Blight

A first conversation, without a checklist.

Fight the Blight is a nonprofit front door for a respectful first conversation, virtual peer groups, and guidance for people directly affected by hoarding and clutter and the people who care about them. Share only what feels useful. We can explore possible next steps, but we are not a county agency and cannot promise a grant, cleanup, or provider opening. Ask whether Indiana County residents can currently join each option and whether any cost applies.

For immediate danger

If there is immediate physical danger, a fire, or an urgent medical need, call 911. For emotional distress or a behavioral-health crisis, call or text 988, or contact Armstrong-Indiana Behavioral and Developmental Health Program's 24/7 crisis service at 1-877-333-2470. Crisis and peer-support services do not replace emergency response.
