Utah 211 connects people with local housing, shelter, food, utility, health, transportation, benefits, legal, and crisis resources. Use it when you are unsure which program fits, then confirm the provider’s current hours, scope, privacy, eligibility, and availability directly.
Ogden City maintains a local mental-health resource page that includes Weber Human Services, Midtown Community Health Center, Family Counseling Service, veteran care, and other providers. Use it to identify a likely next contact, then confirm current intake, insurance, fees, wait time, and clinical scope directly.
Weber Human Services provides behavioral-health, substance-use, aging, case-management, crisis, and recovery services for Weber and Morgan County residents. Ask which program fits, whether Medicaid or sliding-fee options apply, and whether a crisis, aging, or community-support referral is the right starting point.
NAMI Utah offers classes, family support groups, connection groups, and resources for people living with mental-health conditions and those who support them. Ask about current Ogden-area or online groups, registration, accessibility, and whether the family or individual pathway is the better fit; this is not crisis care or therapy.

Safety and stability
These pathways serve different situations. Read the labels carefully before calling, especially when a response may involve protective services, crisis response, city or county code, shelter, victim advocacy, behavioral-health support, or emergency dispatch.

Utah crisis guidance identifies 988 as a 24/7 behavioral-health crisis pathway for people and families. It is not emergency dispatch, licensed therapy, or a cleanup service; call 911 for immediate danger, fire, or a medical emergency.
Weber Human Services lists a crisis line and Mobile Crisis Outreach Team for Weber and Morgan Counties. Call for behavioral-health crisis guidance and ask about mobile response, safety planning, transport, and the least-restrictive appropriate option; call 911 for immediate danger.
Utah Adult Protective Services identifies self-neglect as a situation in which a vulnerable adult cannot provide basic necessities because of a mental or physical impairment. Call 911 for an emergency; otherwise call APS or use the online report, understanding that this is an investigation and protection pathway, not a general cleanup referral.
Your Community Connection supports individuals and families affected by domestic and sexual violence with safety planning, advocacy, shelter, legal and case-management connections, and a 24/7 textable crisis line. This is a violence-safety pathway rather than general hoarding support; call 911 for immediate danger.
Weber County Victim Witness helps victims and witnesses understand rights, navigate the court process, and connect with safety and support resources. Ask about advocates, protective orders, financial help, and current crisis contacts; call 911 for immediate danger.
The Weber County Sheriff’s Office describes protective-order and civil-process information, including ex parte orders and service. Lantern House, also known as St. Anne’s Center, serves people and families experiencing homelessness with emergency shelter, meals, case management, substance-use recovery support, employment resources, and housing connections. The organization says people seeking a bed may come to the facility to complete enrollment; confirm current check-in and belongings rules first.
Ogden Rescue Mission describes emergency services, meals, clothing, showers, shelter, crisis counseling, recovery programming, and vocational support. Ask about current shelter access, program expectations, identity documents, length of stay, and whether the person’s needs fit this pathway.

The Housing Authority of the City of Ogden administers public housing and Housing Choice Voucher programs for eligible low-income households, older adults, and people with disabilities. Ogden City Code Services handles concerns involving junk, debris, property maintenance, housing safety, and other municipal-code issues. The city explains that a verified violation starts a due-process correction process and may lead to abatement; reporting a concern is not a guaranteed cleanup, relocation, or support response.
The Peer Tree is the private-pay pathway for organizing help, decluttering support, groups, family guidance, and practical next steps when a grant or public program is not the right fit. Ask about scope, cost, travel, consent, safety, and whether support is available in Ogden or Weber County.
Unburied, from The Peer Tree, offers a judgment-free digital pathway with peer support, groups, and tools for people directly affected and for friends or family supporters. It is not therapy, a crisis service, or a substitute for emergency help.
