Our virtual groups give people affected by hoarding and clutter concerns a place to connect from Las Vegas, Clark County, and other communities. We can help you think through what is happening and what kind of next step may fit.

For housing and protective-services concerns, confirm whether the person is in Las Vegas, another Clark County jurisdiction, or elsewhere in Nevada.

You do not need to know the perfect service name before reaching out. These organizations can help you understand the landscape and identify a next step.
Fight the Blight offers virtual support groups for people affected by hoarding and clutter concerns. Reach out from Las Vegas or Clark County to ask about current group options and the best place to begin. This is a nonprofit, peer-centered starting point - not emergency or clinical care.
OCD Nevada is an International OCD Foundation affiliate based in Las Vegas. Its current materials describe support, resources, connection to treatment options, support groups, and help locating lower-cost or accessible care across Nevada. This is not a hoarding-specific service or emergency response, but it may help with OCD-related navigation. Ask what is currently available and whether the concern fits its scope.
The current IOCDF listing describes a free monthly Las Vegas meetup for adults with OCD, whether formally diagnosed or not. The group coordinates its location and time based on availability. It is not hoarding-specific or clinical care, but may offer a local peer connection for someone whose concerns overlap with OCD. Confirm the next meeting, access needs, and group fit directly.
The current IOCDF provider profile identifies Lourdes Viado as a BTTI-trained psychotherapist in Las Vegas who provides OCD and anxiety care in person and online across Nevada. The profile does not establish a current hoarding-specific opening or fee. Ask directly about hoarding fit, treatment approach, insurance, fees, age range, and whether the person wants clinical care.
Safety and stability
These pathways serve different situations. Read the labels carefully before calling, especially when a response may involve protective services, housing screening, or emergency dispatch.
The City of Las Vegas Code Enforcement division addresses neighborhood issues and code compliance involving building, housing, environmental, nuisance, and related concerns. The City lists a business-hours phone pathway and an online request for assistance. This is not a cleanup referral or emergency response; call 911 for immediate danger, fire, or a medical emergency.
Nevada Aging and Disability Services Division says Adult Protective Services investigates reports of abuse, neglect, self-neglect, exploitation, isolation, and abandonment involving vulnerable adults. For Las Vegas and Clark County, the current state contact is 702-486-6930. Nevada APS explains that services are provided when the individual is willing to accept them; call 911 for immediate danger.
Nevada 988 connects people by call, text, or chat with trained counselors for emotional distress, mental-health concerns, alcohol or drug-use concerns, or support for someone in distress. It is separate from 911 and is not a routine organizing or housing service. Call 911 for immediate physical danger, fire, or medical emergency.
Clark County describes Coordinated Entry as the single point of entry for people experiencing homelessness to be assessed for available housing services. Clark County Social Services is the coordinated intake hub for single adults without children; the county lists 702-455-4270 for an assessment. Access does not guarantee shelter, housing, or placement, and families, veterans, and youth may use different access points.
Clark County Social Service lists assistance for rental housing costs, utilities, eviction prevention, transportation, and fixed-income households. The county says screening and documentation may be required through its application portal. This is a benefits and housing-stability pathway, not hoarding support or emergency shelter; confirm current funding and processing times before relying on it.
People and practical help
These listings offer local connections for peer support, navigation, home safety, organizing, or cleanup. They are independent organizations; ask about current availability, cost, scope, consent, and safety before relying on them.
Nevada Aging and Disability Services describes Nevada Care Connection resource centers as person-centered navigation for older adults, people with disabilities, caregivers, and families. Services include options counseling, caregiver support, veterans services, and connections to local programs. Ask which southern Nevada center serves the person, whether a service is available at no cost, and what eligibility or waitlists apply.
Clark County’s Solid Waste Environmental Protection Team addresses illegal dumping and trash-disposal violations that affect neighborhood and environmental safety. Use this pathway for public dumping or disposal concerns rather than assuming it provides home cleanup. For a person’s own disposal plan, confirm the current hauler, pickup schedule, item limits, and fees directly.
Nevada 211 helps connect people with local resources, including food, shelter, housing, substance-use services, and other community supports. Nevada 988 distinguishes 211 as a non-emergency resource line, so use it for navigation rather than immediate crisis response. Ask for Clark County options and confirm current availability, eligibility, transportation, and accessibility.
The City of Las Vegas describes a rehabilitation program for critical home repairs, health and safety hazards, energy conservation, and aging in place. The program is limited to the city jurisdiction and applicants who meet program rules; Henderson, North Las Vegas, and unincorporated Clark County use different pathways. This is not hoarding treatment or cleanup.
Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas describes its A Brush with Kindness program as providing minor repairs, home modifications, and critical repairs for qualified homeowners in Clark County. The current page lists primary-residence and household-income criteria. Confirm application status, the current income table, eligible work, wait time, and whether the repair fits the safety concern.
The Creative Organizer describes Las Vegas organizing support for people with chronic disorganization, OCD, anxiety, and hoarding disorders, as well as collectors and other households. It is not affiliated with Fight the Blight or the Alliance. Ask for a written scope, pricing, insurance, privacy practices, disposal plan, and a consent-based pace before scheduling.
Bio-One of Vegas advertises hoarding cleanup and follow-up maintenance for Las Vegas-area homes. It is not affiliated with Fight the Blight or the Alliance. Before agreeing to work, request a written scope, pricing, insurance information, disposal plan, privacy practices, and a pace that keeps the person involved wherever possible.
The Peer Tree offers nonclinical hoarding and clutter support, including organizing help, groups, family guidance, and practical next steps. Ask about current availability, service area, scope, pacing, privacy, and fees before beginning. The Peer Tree is a separate private-pay pathway from Fight the Blight’s nonprofit programming.
Unburied, from The Peer Tree, is a judgment-free digital peer-support pathway for people affected by hoarding and clutter concerns and for friends and family. It can offer ongoing connection, tools, and momentum from Las Vegas or anywhere else. It is not therapy, clinical care, or emergency support.
