Fight the Blight is the nonprofit and virtual-group front door for people affected by hoarding and clutter concerns. People in Bellefonte and Centre County can also use borough, county, regional, statewide, national, and independent pathways for crisis, housing, aging, disability, protective services, benefits, food, shelter, legal help, health care, peer support, and practical navigation. No outside listing is an endorsement; each organization sets its own eligibility, cost, hours, service area, capacity, consent, and safety rules.

Call 911 when there is immediate danger, fire, a medical emergency, violence, or a threat that cannot wait for a scheduled service. Emergency dispatch is not a hoarding-support program, counseling service, or cleanup provider.
Call or text 988 for confidential behavioral-health crisis support. It is not emergency dispatch, licensed therapy, or a cleanup service; call 911 for immediate danger, fire, or a medical emergency.
Centre County states that Center for Community Resources provides a 24/7 crisis line, a 24-hour walk-in center, mobile crisis intervention, and after-hours treatment referrals. Call to request mobile support or discuss the least-restrictive next step; call 911 for immediate danger.
Centre Helps describes trained staff and volunteers providing 24/7 emotional support and connections to resources for people in crisis or need. Call for support and orientation; use 988 or 911 when those pathways are more appropriate.
Centre County says protective-services reports may be anonymous and can involve abuse, neglect, exploitation, or self-neglect of adults age 60 and older who meet the program’s vulnerability rules. The Centre County Housing Authority lists public and assisted housing programs, including elderly and accessible housing and Housing Choice Vouchers. Its site notes the voucher waitlist is closed to new applicants as of June 30, 2026; confirm current status and other housing options directly.
Central Pennsylvania Community Action lists food and nutrition resources, including Bellefonte-area pantry options and emergency hours. Ask about current eligibility, documents, distribution schedules, and other assistance available through the agency.
